ABOUT ME
Tomasz Grzyb (1973)- sociologist, photographer, teacher of photography.
Graduated in the University of Wroclaw. Specialized in Ethnic Relations and Sociology of Poverty. As a researcher and photographer I have traveled to areas inhabited by national minorities and in zones of ethnic conflict like: Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Basque Country,Northern Ireland , Israel / Palestine, Gaza Strip, Chiapas (Mexico), South Africa, Venezuela, Iraq . My first serious contact to photography was an account of daily life of Gypsies community from Romania in Wroclaw ( Poland ) in 1998. From this time the photography is one of the forms in documentation in my social studies .
Photography is also for me a possibility for social work and education for marginalized communities .I have worked as a teacher of photography and multicultural education in Poland, South Africa, Venezuela and Palestinian Authority.
